WIP Wednesday

There are 29 teeth on my Hitchhiker!  This was made possible by back-to-back soccer practices this past weekend.

My son has two more practices this weekend so, weather permitting, there will be even more teeth next week.

I have started a new sock.  It doesn't have a name yet.  It is the latest design in my pursuit of patterns that show off variegated yarn.  I have a lot of variegated sock yarn.  I am drawn to it like a magnet. Unfortunately, not all patterns show the variegation in yarn very well.  Often the stitch pattern is lost in the variegation.

This is an iPhone photo, so the quality is not great.  I was too lazy to get the DSLR out of its case. What do you think?  Too busy?  Just right?  I will finish this sock and see what I think.  The yarn is Dye-Version, BFL Sock in 'Chipotle'.  I love this yarn.  This is my first time working with BFL for socks.  It's awesome.  There will be more BFL socks in my future.
